About the course

From cyber-criminal networks to malicious state-sponsored actors, there is an urgent need to address the online security risks and vulnerabilities facing Canadians, organizations, public institutions and national security.

This demands not just technology solutions for cyber security, but also urgent policy action — in law and regulation, industry standards and practices, and beyond —  that balance cyber resilience with digital innovation and protection of Canadians’ digital privacy and civil rights.

In this course, learners will take a deep dive into cyber threats and risks to individuals and organizations, and response strategies in Canada and around the world.
