Ashna (she/her) leads youth leadership development at the Dais. Through initiatives like the Heads Up Youth Champions program, she empowers young people across Canada to influence policy and drive change, while designing programs, workshops, and events that help them grow as leaders.

Before joining the Dais, Ashna co-founded a creative agency, where she partnered with socially driven organizations to develop campaigns, programs, and digital tools that amplify underrepresented voices. She also worked on human rights and peace-building campaigns at nonprofits including Amnesty International and the Nobel Women’s Initiative, spearheading national and global programs advancing equity-focused policies such as LGBTQIA+ rights, women’s participation in peace processes, and greater representation in Canada’s elected bodies.

When she’s not facilitating, Ashna is usually exploring film and storytelling, working across creative mediums, and making unexpected things with her hands.
