Dorsa Farzi

Farzi (she/her) is a Leadership Development Assistant at The Dais and a fourth-year Creative Industries student at Toronto Metropolitan University, where she focuses on media, communications, and business innovation. With experience in both civic and creative sectors, Dorsa has worked in communications and outreach for federal elections and held a marketing role at an architecture and engineering firm. She has also volunteered with the Liberal Party of Canada and facilitated English and arts based workshops for children in Iran and Egypt. Her interest in inclusive leadership and policy education is shaped by a passion for equity, global perspectives, and community impact. She’s most in her element when surrounded by fabric scraps, a half finished design, and a two hour documentary dissecting the propaganda strategies of the Cold War. She’s always looking for her next historical deep dive, whether on a screen or in a new city.
