Mahtab Laghaei

Mahtab (she/her) is a policy analyst at the Dais, where she conducts research on digital technology, data and privacy, and the information ecosystem. Her work is informed by her interest in the relationship between geopolitics and tech policy.

Prior to the Dais, Mahtab was a researcher and campaign lead for Women Transforming Cities in Vancouver, advocating for policies that address the needs of marginalized women municipally.

Mahtab holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of British Columbia, and a Master of Global Affairs at the Munk School from the University of Toronto.
