Canada’s rebalancing act: Immigration Minister Marc Miller at TMU

The Dais Banner

Canada’s traditional open-door policy has been swinging in different directions – a surge in student visas prompted a new federal cap, while broader immigration reaches record levels. Can we afford to let so many people in? Can we afford not to? Bring your questions for Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Minister Marc Miller at the TMU Democracy Forum, co-hosted by Dais Senior Fellow Martin Regg Cohn and Anna Triandafyllidou, the Canada Excellence Research Chair in Migration and Integration.

Sponsored by the Dais at Toronto Metropolitan University, this free event is open to all students, faculty and the general public via Zoom, with advance registration required.
